The 2009 edition of Halloween Cash for Candy was an unprecedented success. On November 2nd, our office collected 650 lbs of candy for $1/pound in just 4 hours. Since then, local residents, mainly the Brownies, dropped off an additional 150 lbs of candy. All candy is being sent to our troups overseas. 3rd Annual Halloween Cash for Candy, 2009
Dr. Kenneth Gerber held his 3rd annual Halloween Cash for Candy. On November 2, 2009, from 3PM-7PM, Dr. Gerber bought back Halloween candy for $1/pound from local families and gave out flashing toothbrushes. He collected approximately 650 pounds of candy.
